Age Of GODS - How long do they LIVE?

Are GODS immortal? or DO Gods have an end too?

Introduction:

At a point of time in our life, some of us would have this question. Is something in this world immortal? or does everything has a end or halt or atleast a pause? yes, there are a few things in this world which are immortal but has a pause. Gods live for a unimaginable high amount of years. So, whats the approximate value/ approximate age of Gods? I will tell you

What does Shiv Puran has to say about Age of Gods?

There is a detailed explanation of the Age of all Gods in our vedas , puranas. It is very complicated . But here today we shall see the AGE of

  • Lord Brahma
  • Lord Mahavishnu
  • Lord Shiva
When Lord Brahma was asked about the age of the Lords, then he explained it to Narada Muni.
All Gods have a Lifespan of a 100 years. But a year of theirs is way much different than ours.

  • Lord Brahma lives for a 100 Brahma years. But , one day of Lord Brahma is equal to almost 1,16,40,00,000 Human years. And a night of His also lasts so long. So a full day and night of Lord Brahma is 2,32,80,00,000 Human years on earth. So a year of Lord Brahma is  2,32,80,00,000 x 365 = 8,49,72,00,00,000 human years on earth. And so the Age of Lord Brahma is said to last 100 years, so the total lifespan of a Brahma is 8,49,72,00,00,00,000 human years on earth.
  • Maha Vishnu's lifespan is also a 100 Vishnu years but here is a twist, 1 year of Brahma= 1 day and Night of Maha Vishnu. So the age of Maha Vishnu must be   8,49,72,00,00,00,000 x 36,500= 31,01,47,80,00,00,00,00,000 human years on earth.
  • Lord Shiva's  lifespan is also a 100 Shiva years but similarly , 1 year of Maha Vishnu= 1 day and night of Lord Shiva, so the age of Lord Shiva must be  31,01,47,80,00,00,00,00,000 x 36,500= 11,32,03,94,70,00,00,00,00,00,00,000 human years on earth.

Conclusion

So i too had an interest to know the age or the lifespan of these Lords in terms of our human years, so i went through Shiva Puranam , and came across this detail.

Thank you.
